Tri-Colour Classic is a student-run, not-for-profit executive with a goal to help fight childhood cancer in conjunction with the Canadian Cancer Society. The Canadian Cancer Society assists in finding a matching donor, doubling our fund and ultimately doubling our impact. Founded in 2021 by Hunter MacKinnon, who was inspired by the Cure Cancer Classic, and a group of 20 executives, Tri-Colour Classic holds an annual Commerce vs Engineering Basketball game at the Leon’s Centre in Kingston, Ontario.

The team, now comprised of 38 students across 4 faculties, is looking to continue growing, raising more money for fighting childhood cancer and creating a fantastic atmosphere for all students.

In their inaugural year, with our donors’ generous help, the organization raised over $50000 for the Dr. Donald Mabbott lab at SickKids, with over 4200 students in attendance at the game.
