Parking at Slush Puppie Place

Slush Puppie Place uses a dispersed parking model, meaning event-goers park at nearby public and private lots and on the street rather than at the arena itself. There’s plenty of parking nearby — here’s what to expect:

• ~2,500 parking spaces in lots within a 10-minute walk (approx. 600m) of the venue
• 1,500+ municipal lot spaces included in that total
• 550+ on-street parking spaces within 600m, free during evening and Sunday events

Where you can’t park: Parking is prohibited on The Tragically Hip Way between Ontario and King Streets, and on King Street between Place d’Armes and The Tragically Hip Way.

Event Parking Rates

The cost of parking increases in municipal parking lots as you get closer to the Slush Puppie Place when events are scheduled. Signage with event parking rates, instructions and rules are displayed before and during scheduled events.

• $7 flat rate – Barrack Street Lot, Frontenac Lot.
• $6 flat rate – Angrove Lot, Anglin Lot.
• $5 flat rate – Springer Lot, Upper and Lower Robert Bruce Lots.

Early payment for an evening event can be made after 2:30 p.m. (earlier in some lots). Please refer to the signage in each lot for details. Payment for event parking is not required on Sunday.

Pay with HonkMobile

HonkMobile is an easy way to find and pay for parking in Kingston! You can pay by using an app, scanning a QR code or texting a specific number. 

The Honk app shows parking lots and on-street parking areas, including accessible spaces. Signs near parking spaces show QR codes and zone numbers for Text to Pay.

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not accept reservations.
