Women’s hockey is on the rise, and you don’t want to pass up your chance to see some of the biggest names in the sport when Canada’s National Women’s Team returns to Kingston. Marie-Philip Poulin, Natalie Spooner, and Sarah Nurse are just a few of stars that helped cement Team Canada’s position at the top of the hockey world with two gold and a silver at the last three World Championships.
Now Team Canada will get just one opportunity to compete at home in Women’s World pre-tournament action when they take on Finland on Saturday, March 30th at the Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, Ontario.
The 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship is set to take place in Utica, New York. Scheduled for April 3-14, 2024, this prestigious tournament will showcase 29 thrilling games, highlighting the talents of the world’s finest women’s hockey players. Hosted at the Adirondack Bank Center and Utica University Nexus Center, this 10-team event promises to captivate audiences with its exhilarating action and fierce competition.
Prior to the start of the tournament, Canada will play a pre-tournament game against Finland at 3 p.m. ET on March 30 at Slush Puppie Place. Fans can secure their tickets when they go on sale to the public on Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. ET. We kindly advise all attendees of all Slush Puppie Place events to arrive early to avoid potential lines and ensure a smooth entry into the venue. To make the most of your experience and secure your spot for the event, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the scheduled puck drop. Early arrival will not only help you beat the crowds but also allow you ample time to find parking, grab a refreshment, shop the merch tables and settle in comfortably before the event begins. PARKING
In Partnership with the City of Kingston, our venue uses a dispersed parking model which means that event-goers can park at existing public and private parking lots and on the street rather than at the Venue itself. Learn more here.

WILL CALL
Patrons who have tickets being held at Will Call may pick up their tickets at any time during box office hours unless specific instructions were stated at the time of purchase. The Will Call is located at the Box Office (Gate 4). A valid photo ID is required to pick up tickets.
MOBILE ENTRY

GENERAL ENTRY POLICY
To provide the safest environment possible for guests, staff and performers alike, Slush Puppie Place retains the right to ensure that various items do not enter the building. Prohibited items include but are not limited to all purses, bags or containers larger than 14”x 14”x 6”, computer bags, backpacks, camera bags, coolers, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, and briefcases. Fans will be asked to return non-approved bags and other prohibited items to their vehicle before venue entry. There will be no check-in location for prohibited bags or items at the venue.
At Slush Puppie Place, we have implemented a cashless policy for all events to streamline the transaction process and provide our guests with a more efficient and secure experience.
We would like to remind you that there is a no-re-entry policy in effect for all events, except for Kingston Frontenac games. This means that once you have entered the venue, you will not be permitted to leave and re-enter. We understand that this policy may be inconvenient for some, but it is in place for the safety and security of all attendees. We kindly ask that you plan accordingly and bring all necessary items with you upon entry. Smoking (including e-cigarettes or vaporizers) anywhere inside the Arena, including Washrooms, Concourse, and Emergency Exits is strictly prohibited. Smoking of any kind inside the venue will result in ejection from the venue without compensation.
