Top Ontario Talents To Compete In Kingston At Skate Ontario Synchro Series #3

Hundreds of intermediate to junior athletes from across Ontario are meeting at Kingston’s Leon’s Centre from January 21–22, 2023 for the Skate Ontario Synchro Series #3. Leon’s Centre hosts world-renowned athletes, performers, and artists, and now one of the biggest events for synchronized skating in Ontario is coming to Kingston.

Several prominent synchronized skating teams will compete throughout the weekend, including NEXXICE, Ice Ignite, and Synchronicity.

In addition to competing for medals, Novice teams are vying for a spot at Novice Nationals, Intermediate teams and Open teams are hoping to qualify for the Canada Cup, and Juvenile and Pre-Novice teams are looking to qualify for Provincial Championships.

This month we are inviting you to be #SkateOntarioProud at Leon’s Centre, 1 The Tragically Hip Way, Kingston, Ontario, to witness elite synchronized skating teams from across Ontario perform.

Tickets for Synchro Series #3 are available for purchase from January 13-22. Single-day tickets are $12, and weekend tickets are $21. Tickets can only be purchased at the Leon’s Centre box office. There is no online purchasing option available. 

Located at 1 The Tragically Hip Way, Kingston, ON (Gate 4). Enter the Gate 4 doors to access the interior windows of the box office to your left, please note, the arena is not open for public access. Children 3 years of age and younger are FREE.

Tuesday 10 AM – 5 PM

Wednesday 10 AM – 5 PM

Thursday 10 AM – 5 PM

Friday 10 AM – 5 PM

Saturday 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM (Event Day)

Sunday 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Event Day)

About Synchronized Skating

Synchronized skating is distinct from other skating disciplines as it focuses on the unison of skaters in a team. It is one of the fastest-growing disciplines of figure skating. There are 8–16 skaters in each team, that combine the athleticism and artistry of singles, pairs, and ice dancing into a unit of figure skaters.
