MORE INFORMATION
Families, hockey fans, and downtown visitors are invited to enjoy a free outdoor drone show in downtown Kingston, presented by Slush Puppie Canada, ahead of a Kingston Frontenacs home game on Friday, February 13. The drone show will begin at 6:15 pm, lighting up the sky above The Tragically Hip Way, followed by puck drop at 7:05 pm at Slush Puppie Place. The drone show is free to attend and is designed as a family friendly winter experience to kick off Family Day weekend, while also celebrating the Canadian launch of the new banana Slush Puppie flavour.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, dress warmly, and plan ahead for parking and road closures. To safely accommodate the event, The Tragically Hip Way will be closed to vehicle traffic from King Street to Ontario Street prior to the drone show. Guests can explore downtown Kingston before or after the show, and additional parking information for downtown events is available through the City of Kingston.
While the drone show is free to attend, fans looking to extend their evening can take advantage of special Kingston Frontenacs ticket packages available for the game. The Goin’ Bananas Pack includes one adult and one youth ticket and is priced at $44.00 in advance or $47.00 on game day, with taxes and fees included. Fans can also purchase the February Family 4 Pack for $96.00, with taxes and fees included. All ticket packages include a voucher for a complimentary banana Slush Puppie. The Goin’ Bananas Pack goes on sale next week through the Kingston Frontenacs website.
The free drone show is presented by Slush Puppie Canada in partnership with Slush Puppie Place, the Kingston Frontenacs, and the City of Kingston. The event is intended to bring the community together for a shared winter experience in downtown Kingston, combining a free outdoor spectacle with live hockey and a themed game night offering.
Ticket packages and game information are available through the Kingston Frontenacs website.
