BTC Fight aims to put on action-packed events filled with local athletes, and exceptional fighters from around Canada and the world. Many professional fighters seek to reach the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Competing on the regional MMA scene, for organizations like BTC Fight Promotions, is where that journey begins for many of them. In the past three years, we have helped six athletes reach the UFC including Jasmine Jasudavicius, Kyle Nelson and Lupita Godinez.
Come and catch Canada’s next MMA superstars as they build their professional records and fight toward the dream of being known as the best in the world. For the first time since the pandemic, we will have a BTC Fight Championship Title on the line in our main event as Burlington’s Serhiy Sidey (7-1) looks to capture gold. In terms of local athletes, Belleville will be well represented on this card with three athletes on the card: Matt “The Mauler” Smith (2-0), Andrew Babcock (pro debut) and Zach Baldwin (pro debut). Currently, undefeated Matt Smith returns for a high-profile showdown close to home and looks to continue his quest to the top of the welterweight (170 lbs) rankings in Canada. Another highlight of the card will be a showdown between two of the best female fighters on the globe with Bobbi Jo Dalziel (5-2) taking on Roberta “Crush” Paim (5-2). Sarnia’s Dalziel has already been challenged for a title in a major international promotion but returns home to Canada to take on one of her toughest challengers to date. Brazil-born Roberta “Crush” Paim trains out of Immortal Martial Arts in Ohio. She looks to bring a win stateside and continue her quest to be one of the best female fighters in the world.
