Annual Food Drive
We’re excited that we have seven home games at Leon’s Centre this month, and we would love to see you there supporting our team. But that’s not all! We’re also proud to be supporting our local community by partnering with the Partners in Mission Foodbank. At each of our seven home games, we’ll have collection bins located at each entry gate for you to donate non-perishable food items to support this great cause.
“Our goal is to collect non-perishable food items so that individuals experiencing hunger across our city can access the food they need for themselves and their families during this holiday season,” says General Manager Brandon Tattersall. “Supporting the food bank is a crucial aspect of ensuring food security throughout our community, and we are proud to support the Partners in Mission Foodbank by collecting donations at the arena. We consider it a significant project to support their mission of reducing hunger in our Kingston community.”
Donation bins can be found at each entree gate during each Fronts home game, fans are encouraged to bring items if able. As well as inside the doors of Gate 4, Tuesday-Friday from 10 AM – 5 PM, for those coming to purchase tickets. Does your hockey team have ice rented this month? We’ve placed one more inside for those coming to the arena after Box Office operating hours! Monetary donations can be made at https://rb.gy/yw3vgw.
So not only will you get to watch some amazing hockey and cheer on your favourite team, but you’ll also have the opportunity to give back to our community and help those in need.
